Noha o Matam at chand raat malvani Malad Mumbai, June 16, 2026: As the moon of 1st Moharram 1448 Hijri was sighted across India on the evening of June 16, Azadaars gathered at the Chehlum Committee Imambara in Malvani, Malad, Mumbai, to observe Chand Raat with devotion and grief. Majlis and Matam were solemnly held in remembrance of the sacrifices of Karbala and the unmatched patience of the Ahlul Bayt.
