Eid-e-Zahra (SA)

Ibn-e-Taous narrates in Zawaed-ul Fawaed that Holy Prophet (SAW)’s companion, Hazrat Hozayfa Yamani (RA), said that he went to holy Prophet (S.W.) on 9th of Rabi-ul Awal and witnessed him smiling while he had his eyes on the faces of his grandsons Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS).

He (SAW) said to them: ‘Surely on this day, Allah will ruin His enemy and enemy of your grandfather, and prayer of your mother will be accepted on this day, and this is the day when Allah accepts deeds of your followers and your devotees…”

Rabi-ul Awwal 9, the day of glory, honor, dignity and blessings, is a great Eid known as Eid-e-Shuja, Eid-e-Zahra (SA) It was on this day that joy and happiness was restored in the family of Ahlul-Bayt (AS).

From the tragedy of Karbala in 61 A.H. till this day, the family members of the Holy Prophet (SAW) had continuously mourned and grieved the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussain (AS).

Imam didn’t stand with any other man to take vengeance of Imam Hussain’s blood but when Muhammed bin Hanfiya came to him(as) with Amir e Mukhtaar and told him about his resolution (he want to take avenge of imam’s Holy blood), imam said to Janab e Muhammed bin Hanfiya that "Uncle! You can take any decision because I am giving you the rights to take any decision about this matter."

Hazrat Mukhtaar got the permission of Imam Zayn ul Abideen (AS) through Janab e Muhammed bin Hanfiya.

Ibrahim bin Maalik e Ushtar and all eminent shiyan e Ali was with Janab e Mukhtaar after being informed that imam has given the permission to take the vengeance through Muhammed bin Hanfiya.

Hazrat Mukhtar (R.A) announced the aims of his revolution in Masjid-e-Kufa,

" I'll conform to Allah's Book (Qur'an) and to His Apostle's Sunnah. I'll take the revenge on Imam Hussain's (AS) killers. I'll fight against those who have broken Allah's laws. I'll defend the weak against the strong by all means necessary. "

Hazarat Mukhtar (RA) took revenge from killers of Imam Hussain (A.S) by killing them all in the same manner as they did, and then he sent to Beemar-e-Karbala Hazrat Imam Zayn-ul Abideen (AS) the heads of the slaughterers of Imam Hussain (A.S.) including Ibne Ziyad (LANAT BESHUMAR) and Umer bin Sa’ad (LANAT BESHUMAR).

Receiving heads of these tyrants, Imam Zayn-ul Abideen (A.S.) paid thanking prostration to Allah saying,“Thanks to Allah for He took revenge from our enemies” and prayed for Hazrat Mukhtar (R.A.) in these words: “May Allah reward Mukhtar good.”

Due to the happiness on this day, the usual syrup (Halwa) that was brought to the 4th Imam every day was forgotten. Someone asked one of the servants that today you forgot to bring the syrup to the Imam. When Imam Zain-ul-Abedeen heard this he said that do not worry about that today the heads of the tyrants is for me like you have brought me the most delicious syrup of all.

Our Heartiest Congratulations to All Momineen and Mominaat on this Blessed Eid.

Yeh sawal hum ne Grand Ayatullah Shaikh Muhammad Hussain Najafi se December 2012 me kiya tha, unka jawab yaha attached kiya gaya hai Waqia of Fitrus:  When Imam Husain (AS) was born, Allah sent down the angel Jibrail (AS) to congratulate the family. On the way down from the heavens angel Jibrail (AS) passed an island, on which the angel Fitrus was sent to by Allah because he had been naughty. Fitrus had also had his wings taken away by Allah. When Fitrus saw Jibrail (AS) he asked him where he was going. Jibrail (AS) told him that he was going to congratulate the Holy Prophet (SAW) and his family on the birth of Imam Husain (AS).Fitrus asked if he could also go with him. Jibrail (AS) agreed with the permission of Allah and so carried him down to earth. When the angels reached the Holy Prophet (SAW) and congratulated him and his family
