Duties of Moharram

Allah has said: "Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One Allah: then fear Me (and Me alone) 16:51

Duties of Moharram:

1. Attend Majaalis Juloos, don't just listen if some thing is been said ask if you have any doubts, know the aims of Karbala.

2. Take with you your kids, and let them sit beside you, on the way or at home ask them what did they learn?

3. Offer Namaz on time, pay off your dues of Khums and zakat etc.

4. Read the Holy Quran daily at least 10 Ayats with the translation.

5. Be aware of the enemies plots against Islam and Muslims.

6. Maintain unity of Muslim, in regards to justice let all human kind be united.

7. Propagate the Mission of Imam Hussain a.s

A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication for her daughter. Upon returning to her car she found that she had locked her keys in the car. She was in a hurry to get home to her sick daughter. She didn't know what to do, so she called her home and told the baby sitter what had happened and that she did not know what to do. The baby sitter told her that her daughter was getting worse.
